Too cute!!

These were super easy, all they needed were a little bit of distressing along the edges & they're all done! I like the 6x6 size they show the background detail in each photo much better than when they are a real size photo in a regular size album or on their own.

I like backgrounds in my photos it reminds me of little things I've forgotten about :)

My next project will be this..

I need to have the photos printed off first..this will be a little book of my Grandpop (& his house) on his 80th birthday which was back in July,2008.
I am very lucky because I also have a memory button which I recorded his voice onto while we were there..


He was just talking about an electricity company and other random things..

It doesn't go for that long. They don't hold a real lot of recording time.

Trust..

Just reading my blog, & something occurred to me that kind of had before but not as clear as it did right now..it was to do with a teacup which used to belong to my Grandma, & how I want to have it framed in a shadow box but don't trust anybody to take/do/let alone touch it.


I don't think I trust people.
Actually I know it.
And it's there now again today in my own blog, staring me straight in the face.

It's as plain as day.

Ahh...it's not all that bad.
There is a small handful that I trust my life on..

(that incl. my own family of course)..


But surprisingly that's ok. I'm not feeling negative about it at all, just an observation really... & although it all makes me wonder, it's still sitting alright with me.

Ha! Is that weird or what??...

Ok I am a little bit late with my post..60 or so minutes but who is counting.. not me. 2 years ago on the 16th of March 2008, I went to my first ever concert.. so what you say.. you've probably been to plenty of them, dozens if not more.
Well, I was in my 3o's a bit older than most of you when you probably 'popped your concert cherry', but waiting was so worth it. Who did I see?? I wonder... Ok most of you, if not all of you will never guess.. so I will tell you..


Jack Johnson!!
(shock horror!) I love his music, I love the words the sound the place his songs put me in, It appears that he wrote most of his songs for Jason & for me♥.
Amazing.
I'm at home whenever I turn it on no matter where I am, it's me...It calms me down when I am in a mood, or feeling 'not myself', it makes me daydream probably a bit more than I should.. I'm on cloud 9 (still).

I'm also happy that my first ever concert was to see him and not someone else I didn't like as much, just ask anybody ~ I could go on all night how I felt on that day 2 years ago (already) but I don't need to, it's all in here *points to my heart* but I really should get to bed..

35 Hours..

One more thing finished! I can see the bottom of my 'to do' scrapbooking box (yay!!!)

One canvas done for me to keep & one for Sarah, of her tiny foot when she was just 35 hours old. A quiet afternoon, just her & I in hospital during non visiting hours, I'd bought the blank canvas' weeks before and took my favourite shade of pink (for a newborn baby!) and a brand new making memories sponge which I still have and can't bring myself to throw away ( how could I it still has the pink paint on it!). While she slept soundly oblivious to the world around her (& full of milk..) I painted her tiny foot so that one day I could look back & remember just how little she was.

Should be her name...our newest (& last!) addition who is 8 weeks old...kitty love 'everywhere' in this house ♥♥... Ok her real name is Lily!
